Default Will these parts work on a 968

I am looking at these parts. Anyone know if they will fit a 968?

Original Porsche Motorsports struts and progressive rate springs. F struts: 951-343-031-32/-032-32, F strut mount: 951-343-018-30, many other smaller parts on full F strut assembly. Cannot locate Motorsports part # for springs. R shocks: 951-333-032-04.

Fronts look like 3 way adjustable koni fronts. Rears look like Bilsteins that are 3 way adjustable. From the looks of it, they should all fit. You will need to buy springs for the rears. If the rears are 2.25 id, I have a new set of springs that I bought and never used.

Rob- There is no way these will fiit- so instead of you losing money I'll take them off your hands.... I can send you my stock struts so you are not left stranded........... How is a case of homebrew and a PS cooler- I am removing all your stuff! really !!!

All kidding aside fronts look right like Raj says but the rears look bigger..... IMHO-

Cheers, Miike

I have 951 front struts on my car so those definitely work. And afaik all 1987+ rear shocks are interchangeable.

The rears pictured are Koni's as well...the adjustment sticking out of the side is the giveaway.

Why are the rear shocks so dinky compared to the front struts on our cars? I would think that w/ roughly equal weight front and rear that the dampener sizes would be about the same as well...

The guy selling them wants $1000 and he points out that these are extremely rare as they are the actual racing set up Porsche sold for the 944 Turbo Cup cars. If anyone is interested, I will put you in touch with him. I could only go $500, so I am out.....

Anyone buying these should also factor in the cost of rebuilding them, which could easily be close to another $800 or so. Now you are into KW territory. These are extremely rare, not sure sure how much that should add to their value.

Raj,

You are correct, I contacted Truechoice to get a quote and it come in at around $800-825 for the rebuild. I think the reason that anyone would buy is: rare and actual Porsche Motorsports parts.

Mike,

Let me know when you ship the cooler. I have all the other parts (well except for a few fittings) so the cooler is all that is missing.

Thanks,
Rob T.
