Looking great. Keep info coming and post pics and video where possible. What sort of sleeves / pistons did you use in the block?

Thanks for the comlpliments.
Pistons are J&E(I paid for wosner) ,I have no idea about the sleeves since this was done by someone else , I walked away from this guy because i was getting the feeling he was riping me off .when i inspectected the internals of the block he had build for me i found out that most of the gaskets he used were old ones .god knows what else he did wrong and I hope the engine stays in one piece

Some more pics of the latest work ,bad news for the engine, it sudenly stopped running the cam seized in the cam housing due to a lack of lubrication , i found that the check valve in the had was completely stuck so no oil ever made it to the top end .It just ran on the lubricant that was put on by assembly.tomorow I will do a leak down test to see if anything was bent ,I already inspected the cylinders/pistons with a camera and I can't find any marks of valves kissing the pistons.Fingers crossed!!!
For everyone with an 89 t or 2.7 na head always check this valve before assembly it's a smal job that can save you a lot of time and money.

Tragic. It's always the little details that get ya! I hope it is a simple fix.

Default valves are ok

I just ran a leak down test and found out that all valves are air tight and zero differnce between cylinders ,for all cylinders max 2 percent leakage on a cold engine seems like i got a break

btw, your tub is so beautiful.... would be awesome as the ultimate street car too.

gosh, the engines are soooo f_cking exotic. don't think i'll ever have one built.

but, ohhhhhhhh, for your gorgeous tub with an LS2/LS3 and just run as a street car. blasphemy in europe, of course.

and.......

I don't think of it as blasfemy ,but my opion is that if I wanted an LS engined track car than I would just buy a corvette and start improving that for track/race use i think that would take less time and money than doing the whole conversion thing
