Waste Gate Ordered Monday at 1:30 pm, received Wednesday 11:00 am !!!Are very strong in this company in Germany!Well packed, with some small gifts and the 2018 catalog of all their know-how.

In short, very professional all that.Rest more than !!!!We will start on a basic setting of 0.9b which will be used on wet track and we should go up to 1.1 / 1.2b with the boost-controler said "manettino" !!!!In any case, we can intervene given the collection of springs delivered with the WG

The team of Race For Fun (Holland) who has maintained and developed the 968 before I buy it comes, again, give me a hand up. Indeed, a few days ago, engine management problems have reappeared again! While everything had worked well since the end of the season 2017. The diagnosis was no longer any doubt, the Haltech plant was in question, with random and varied bugs. Decision was made to repair the ECU knowing that this model is no longer manufactured and replaced and that its manufacturer is in Australia! Delays..douane ... and if the repair is not possible .... all this to 6 weeks of the first meeting! And that's where the Patrick Verkerk family Harry Verkerk comes in .... They have a new station in stock !!! Posted Wednesday ... delivered Saturday morning ...... that's After Sales Service !!! A big thank-you

And then, as good news never comes alone, the laptop (refurbished opportunity) that I want to dedicate to the car has also arrived !! This will allow me to better diagnose and control the operation of the car on the circuits.

Back from Aix with a car that has found colors! We can still improve, (the waste gate is tarnished with springs 0.9b) but lack of testing time, we will do with the GT Classic Historic Tour at the end of the month. The car is back at CCM for the "check before race".

The "turtle" mode will be for a "wet" track with a much lower and linear torque of 3500rpm.
On "skull", the maximum power is found at 5500rpm, which will pass the reports earlier, without too much reach the breakpoint set at 6200 rpm.

Snow in the morning ... sun in the afternoon !! A work visit at CCM to bring the flat bottom to be reassembled after the general inspection and the engine oil change. Surprise, the car is on deck and the emptying in progress !

We take the opportunity to inspect all the underside of the car

new waste gate,

petrol pumps, all changed at the end of the season

radiator .... RAS.

A small adjustment of the throttle cable, and engine!she purrs well and I can not wait to take my place in this super clean cockpit now

A last look before going down to my home: the Cayman next door has just received his new Bilstein !!! It will be nice on the track soon

Rest the brake bleeding that will be Friday before bringing the car back into its cozy cocoon.

Last work at Castellet Car Motorsport on the 968 ... the check on the tightenings and the bleeding of the brakes and their control

They train for the change of wheels !!!!

All is OK for a bet on his trailer next Wednesday .....

I noticed that my 968, the family of Porsche Front Engine (PFE) gave them ideas, if I believe the 928 is being restored! She throws already quite a lot, just out of paint
