Geez, I dunno. They said they were rubber and Akron was covered with rubber dust. Poly nothing else existed then except as an underground sex term. Billy Caspar was allergic to rubber and couldn't play in any of the huge tournaments in Akron. Back then, Akron was famous for The Soap Box Derby, golf capitol of the world, rubber dust on everything and being the only town dirtier than both Cleveland and Detroit.

D-14 !! that approach, that approach !!!
Two more weeks to wait and it will be the largest RdV 1st meeting of Porsche Motorsport.
A meeting already "complete" in recent days, that's how it's going to be animated !!!
Taxiing exclusively for a good debugging after the rainy season.
3 separate runs
Red in "slick" ie the Cup of all types
Then the yellow "MSC2" whose candidates "BRM Sport Cup"; and green "road or beginner".
My 968 will be with yellow

A week before putting the new Sport Cup2 on the track of Bugatti !!!

I think at the end of the two track days (6 hours in all) I could find good marks in terms of brake settings (distributor); absorbers (hardness and height) and rear stabilizer bar (3 positions).
