Here is another pic showing the twin oil cooler and the intercooler which will cool air coming from a GT35R ball bearing. Block is at the machine shop along with the head. Other goodies as well...

ever thought of retrofitting a different front bumper? 997 turbo or 996 turbo front?
Nice setup, how does the intercooler mount on the bottom? or is it fabricated on top to the bumper brace?

Thanks Speed and Raj. Just like Raj I tried to stay as stock as possible in looks, just not engine. I had to go with a stand alone to be able to experiment with the variocam effects and the 1mm oversized 16v head. Stayed with the stock bore but sleeved. Something about a modded car that does not look too modded. Had to have an intake made though, which turned out sweet. Patience and time. The interior has been re-done. I had another car that a vinyl repair shop did for me and I gave him one seat from this car. It was soo nice that I took the entire interior out so the champaigne beige color matched. The other car he did is 2.5 years on the re-do and still looking new. Will keep ya updated when something of interest happens. Tuning is going to be a chore but there is a cool dude with a dyno right around the corner
968tcab, if you look at the corner of the intercooler right next to the second oil cooler you can barely make out the bottom mount and then the intercooler pipes give it more stability in addition to being attached at the top. I had to cut one hole for the intercooler to intake but other than that no other cutting. I bought some 993 headlights and then re-sold them because you really have to cut away at the fender supports to fit them in at the right angle. The space for the lights is just not deep enough without some serious work. Or at least I thought so I cleaned the ones I had and called it a day...that day.

968turbos2: Wow...that is a nice clean car. Looks like it's midnight blue as well which is quickly becoming one of my favorite colors. And to top it off you have the Turbo S wheels and big red brakes. All I can say is you are building the 968 I would have built - color, wheels, brakes and turbo too.

Thanks Solo, my second choice would have been your color with a black interior. Time and a little money never hurts for sure. I researched the companies that build clones and the quotes I received made me source and do it myself. It can be done for less if one is wiling. The color is the L39C - Midnight Blue Metallic w/Perloid effect. Does not hurt to have a great Body Shop about 3 miles away either

Here is another shot after the first washing just to get the dust from spring off of it. I cut the glass from the rear hatch and re-painted/re-sealed it. That was probably the loudest thing I have done to date. My hand still vibrates from the cut-off tool. Anyone know a good source on interior carpet?
