Yes, the OEM Porsche Motor Mounts should last twice as long as aftermarket. Do a search here on Rennlist. It has been discussed.

Well I have some good news and some bad news. The good news is that I bought a different 968 that doesn't need a windshield. The bad news is that now there will not be a resolution to the great transaxle car aftermarket windshield mystery!

If nothing else I hope the info in this thread helps someone in a similar situation and if someone does eventually try the newer aftermarket 968 glass I hope they report back with details.
