Just one excuse after another but shop get new roof. Epoxy floors etc. Tells me small items on previous build has pulled him away...starts working on but then takes on new projects...I am now being contacted by others questioning his capabilities because improper parts were used. Years ago promised monthly updates but it never happened....then offered $500.00 off per month that project wasn't complete....we are up to 12k credit..

Frustration has taken over the build.

Car for sale the day the dyno runs are complete to post stats......75k...flawless car.

Get your motor and attempt to get your money! Find a company to put your motor back together in a stock fashion rapidly and sell as stock. You will lose MUCH less money as these special project super cars never return the investment in the market. In fact I would ask to have the motor back just rebuilt stock so they could return it in a months time. Sell all go fast turbo stuff thats been purchased to the others that cant wait to do this build and then sell your car. You will at least stop bleeding money and be able to do something positive rather than chasing 75K over the next few years if it ever gets complete. If its a nice low mileage cab in a nice color with a new stock motor you could possibly get 20-40K for her....keep going down this path and you could lose 20-40K and a lot of time/life that you will never get back!

Think people want to pay more than 50-60K for a non-pedigreed Porsche 968 with a one off motor then follow this thread for sale for the last couple years https://rennlist.com/forums/vehicle-...lly-built.html

Get out while you have only lost 7 years and 12K.....apparently you could lose 6 figures with these guys and not even want the car???

Just one mans opinion, good luck with your outcome.

Yea I'd love to have a 968 turbo but there are way way too many cool cars in that price range. I would never even fathom spending that on someone's project 968. I'm not saying it wouldn't be worth it to you to do it but I think you would be extremely hard pressed to sell it anywhere near what you'd have in it.
