Thanks, reading a lot and now trying to find the attiwe/raid wheel. I bought a deep dish, but as it does not have an airbag my insurance coverage will be out the window and I won't go that risk.

The 968 CS wheel has no airbag! What is wrong with the current wheel?

Otherwise, have you thought about a deeply dished steering sheel?

The top one is the one I currently run and I love it. It just looks the part ...but hey that's my opinion only.
The original looks so old and dated

Airbags aging out aren't necessarily a great idea.
Add to that [their originally flawed design]
making staying with them not necessarily a terrible idea
nor a particularly good idea.

My airbag light comes on regularly, I guess that means it's time to go to a better looking steering wheel! Sorta reminds me of our spare tires, would it work at this point if you needed it to?
