Anyone have a recipe for circa 300 HP na with the 968 engine for a streetcar?

My 968 motor is a John Behe tuned engine. 100 octane. Dynos at 251hp at the rear wheel, so I hear that's about 285 or so at the crank. According to John, my motor is not a crazy setting and he could get more out of it. So I concur - Call John Behe.

Ok thanks but I am in Sweden so John Behe is not an option Im afraid. Would be happy to know what was done to these engines to get the power.

John owns a tuning shop. He will Dyno tune your car to extract more power by changing it to a more aggressive tune. Keep in mind, there is no such thing are free hp. With higher numbers come a smaller threshold for mistakes. Wrong gas and you could be blowing a head gasket.
You could try data logging your runs and providing him output and see if he can tune it.

Yes getting more power costs money no doubt which I am ready for. I havent seen much on tuned but yet street legal 968s though. We have People here in Sweden that can tune more aggressively aswell as suggested with Behe but I guess with 3liters there must be room for more power with sustained reliability? Has anyone tried different cams, better inlet manifold, freer exhaust? What I am searching for is if someone has a proven setup to extract more power still using regular gas and still passing through annual MOT?
Any experiences appreciated

Peder - contact user "Raceboy", he's the one making the VEMS ECU kits.
He worked on a 968 with a custom intake manifold (shorter runners/larger plenum/TB) and tuned it with aggressive timing for pump gas or E85 and got something like ~250rwhp. Totally stock engine otherwise.
He is in Estonia.

Big cam lift and duration, as a byproduct, can have vacuum and idle issues for a street car..
But, then again, what RS calls "the big boys" aren't necessarily what I'd call big lift/duration since the specs aren't known, but it is noted there "with 12:1 CR or higher, which means engine teardown for pistons or severe head shaving. You'd need to find 8ccs to lose.
Your target is surely possible, I'd call/email Michael Mount and ask his recommendations.
With top class porting and a mild cam pair, maybe revised exhaust, sure to be worth the extra power you are looking for.
Easiest route for you would be to find a 3.0 cylinder head stateside that MM can do the work on while you still drive your car.
I'm doing a "recipe" on the smaller 2.5 16V that should be relatable (less variocam) and I am projecting +42hp over the stock 188.

Just to tell what I am planning. Goal is to build a "what if Porsche did a 924 RS"
I am using a - 86 924 S as a base and I am looking to create a really sleek, light and nimble car in true Porsche RS style. Goal is below 1100kg and 280+HP 968 engine. Should be a real blast and a true sleeper. Love the slim body of the 924.

My understanding is to get substantial more power from the 968 motor requires supercharging/turbocharging of some sort.
