Default New 968 Owner

Just a new 1994 968 owner stopping by and saying hello. The 968 is new to me but the Porsche name isn't. I had a 1991 911 C2 that I got got rid of to purchase this car. The 911 wasn't all I thought it would be. Once I saw this 968 I knew the 911 was in trouble. Well hi again and I hope to learn some new things while on this forum.

The 964 C2 was fine. It did have an oil leak that was very minimal. I just didn't want to deal with the cost to repair this or an engine rebuild in the future. I rather spend all that extra cash on the wife, me or the track car. The 964 just didn't drive as well as a well setup 944 or 968 does. I guess I was just expecting too much from the 964. I moved up to the Seattle area and needed a car quickly. If this 968 was available when I got the 964 I would've bought the 968 in a heart beat.

I don't believe so. I have the normal 968 spoiler. I wouldn't mind having the 968 Turbo S spoiler though. He also has the ducts on his hood which I do not. It seems that he has a B&B exhaust like myself. The car has 18" 3.6 replicas and look just a tad different from the one's on the website you included. I will post the modifications that have been done to the car.

I think Eric removed a lot of his mods before selling, that's why I was curious. Beautiful car you've got either way!

Nope, that's not my former car. It is nice to see some more 968s in the area though.

Ignacio, are going to be taking any of your cars to the track?

Welcome, Ignacio! It's good to see a fellow Pacific Northwesterner on the list. Do you ever make it to Portland International Raceway for DE or autocross?

Looks like you snagged a good example. I hope you don't mind if I make it my wallpaper for a while.

sayporsha: I have only been in Seattle for six months so I haven't had a chance to go down to PIR. I have been to a PCA DE at Seattle Raceways and 2 PCA autocrosses in Bremerton. I am hoping to go to PRI this February to run with the Nortwest Quattro club. You can use my car all you want for a wallpaper.

Eric_k: The 968 is in too good of a condition to track. Besides I will be taking my 1986 951 to the track. That's what it's intended for.
