Default A 968 cab sells for $29K???

I just ran across this surfing Autotrader -- either 968's value is coming back up or someone seriously overpaid -- either way, it makes me feel good about our cars : Bimmer-Benz.

Great color, but that's a strong price for a car with 44K miles. I'd think that 26K would be a good price for a dealer to get, with 24K being a good private sale. I've heard some funny stories about that dealer, although they do seem to always have a 968 or two kicking around.

Don't forget a similar mileaged cab that I saw at www.highmarques.com went for almost 10K less-but they had bought it really cheap and they wanted to move it.

I wouldn't trust that dealer either. Ebay is a better source for market values.

BTW, Damian, I know you like the silver cars. Did you see the silver cab with the red interior on eBay. That has to be a one of one, tip though.

Missed that one Jeff. Silver with red would be a bitchin combo. I really do like the light metallics, Horizon Blue, Polar Silver, colors like that. Remember how nice Dan Davies' car was two years ago with the fresh wheels and splitter? Yum.

Horizon Blue is a great colour. I have just bought my first Porsche and this is the colour. It's a 92 model with a whisker under 70,000 Kilometres on it. Half Leather midnight Blue interior and it's a Tip. Had to go for the Tip as I'm 6'5" and with no steering adjustment I just wasn't comfortable trying to use the clutch. More room than the Boxter though as I look like a Gorilla riding a tricycle in that!Full Porsche history and I paid 57,000 Dirhams for it last week. That's about $15,500 US. I've just put it in to have the belts checked/replaced and when I get it back I'll post some stills. Want to put 17's on as the original 16's look a little small. Lots of smiles for minimum miles!
