Hmm....I think I did but will verify. Thanks Charlie. Have the car in a shop now getting engine mounts. They wanted to remove the whole fuse/relay box and it was going to be like 500 bucks. It seems like it would have to be a more simple solution than going into all that. So I'll mess with it myself when I get it home.
If the G2 relay in a 944 causes this and since I have no G2 relay. Do you know any other relay I could check?

I would I would suggest checking the power supply for each of these with the wiring diagrams. On the old fuse boxes many times the fuse no longer makes connection and if you essentially wedge it in with a penny it will make the correct connection and you'll be back in business

Well I picked up my car today. New motor mounts are amazing, engine is so smooth!!! What a difference. Still have rough idle to investigate but that will be next on list. They fixed the electrical (instruments) issue by replacing a relay. Same type of relay you would find in G2 socket but I don't know exactly which one it was. Just a couple more Things to fix and this car will be perfect.

Interesting thing happened the other day, my wife followed me to the shop. I was going to sell the car because I really want a Ferrari 308gt4 and I needed the money out of this car to make a down payment. On the way home she said "your not really going to sell that are you?" I said I have to. She said well you'll regret it in 5-10 years, is the car going to go up in value? I said yea probably. She said well let's keep it and we'll find a way to pay for the Ferrari. I said....who are you and what did you do with my wife!!!!
So the 964 is on hold for a while but I'm going to have a Ferrari and a really nice Porsche to play with. I was really a little worried about being Porsche-less for the first time in a very long time.

I go to my credit union and get a used car loan, like any other car I've ever financed.
