Default My new wheels..

I have been looking for some new wheels for my Midnight Blue 968 coupe, as my current 18" BBS Le Mans lookalike wheels doesn't have the right offset on the fronts, which make them rub against the inner fender ever so slightly during hard cornering. So even though I love these wheels and get lots of compliments on them, I want to find some new wheels that fits better but still looks great. After a fair bit of searching, I have found two differerent sets of wheels for sale at a great price that I really like and believe compliments my car well. But I can't seem to decide and would very much appreciate your opinion and thoughts. Both on pure looks alone but also on the best fitment for my car.

First up is a set of original 18" TechArt wheels, 8" fronts ET 49 and 9,5" rears ET 47. Not sure about the weight so if anyone knows please chime in.

Next up is a set of 18" Keskin Speedline look wheels, 8,5" fronts ET 52 and 9,5" rears ET 52.

Lastly a pic of my car with its current wheels.. Its lowered a bit and running almost new adjustable Koni shocks.

Both set of wheels are in really beautiful condition and ready to install. At the moment I'm slightly in favor of the Keskin Speedline style wheels, as I have Speedlines on my 964 Turbo and just love that look. But at the end the Keskins are only copies and not real ones, where as the TechArt wheels are the genuine thing and also have a beautiful simplistic elegance to them.. But what do you guys think will be the best and best looking option..?!?

Alex.

Nice. Wheels are subjective of course. IMHO., I'm a five spoke fan so I would vote for the speedline repos, plus you are getting a "somewhat" factory look.

I’m not a huge fan of 18s on the 44/68. I run 17” 10 spokes from a 996 with a thin spacer up front. The fit is excellent.

Thanks for giving your input.. It seems like the Keskin Speedline repros are the favorite so far.. I certainly would love to hear from more 968 owners, so to everyone who is having a look, please give your opinion as well and help me decide..

Thanks - Alex.

Personally I don't like the 6 spokes, but they are different and it's nice to stand out in the crowd. Are there any defects in the wheels that would want you to paint them a different color? What color is your car? I think the Speedlines look great on a 964, but not so much on the 968.

My car is Midnight blue, its the one in the last pic in the first post where you can see it with its current wheels. Both the Keskin and TechArt wheels are in near perfect condition, so no need to paint them. As Jeff pointed out earlier, I guess going with the Speedline repros will keep the look somewhat factory as the 968 Turbo came with 18" Speedline wheels. But with TechArt being a well renowned Porsche tuning company I guess their wheels can be considered an equally good quality option.. Hmm, decisions, decisions..

968 Turbo RS

I have the 17" Kenisis version of the Speedlines and they look fantastic. Go speedline reps.

I think the ones you have on your car looks very nice! But if you have to switch I too would go for the speedline reps.

3rd option (not in question here) and best in imo is BBS E88 golds

Good luck!

Wow, that's some serious rubber on the Turbo RS cars..! Do you also happen to know the offset numbers for the original Speedline wheels.?

I kind of like the OEM Porsche Cup wheels. I also like the flat sided wheels of the 951, like the ones here-https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1987-porsche-944-turbo-27/
