Thanks! Yeah, it's therapeutic. Got the backing plates and spindles primer'd. It's amazing how fast the rust starts after you sand blast steel. It literally took 10 minutes for it to start!

I redid my 964 turbo suspension and bead blasted everything but I used my friends wicked top of the line sand blast cabinet and compressor. Do you have your own?
I'm going to do my 968 suspension as well and wondering if an el cheapo 200 dollar cabinet is worth buying or just take the parts to a pro? I like doing it my self.

I borrowed my friends cabinet. It's a cheapo Harbor Freight unit (large free-standing size) but it worked very well. I used the glass bead medium. I was hoping the aluminum pieces would have looked better. They look like gray primer...lol... but very clean now!

So after watching this video I am no longer impressed with your girly harbour freight blaster!!
The bad news is that it would probably cost 74,000 dollars to blast your suspension pieces.

Me like! What you need to pair it with is a way to automatically clean the part and lay down a corrosion inhibitor and/or primer just following the laser head.
