Best replacement headlight bulbs?
Looking for upgrading the headlights, with a plug in option. Sylvania Ultras, Phillips? Who has had good experiences with replacements?
Thanks,
Kurt

Tried a few H4 replacements to start with and not too impressed. Eventually tried these from other reviews I read. Brilliant, literally!
Now have them on the 911 and all the other family cars. Really made a difference...

on Rennlist you ask, and you shall receive.....
*taking a moment in Monument Valley just after a wild thunderstorm a few hours after descending from the high country of Colorado on my 6th cross country drive between Boston and Los Angeles with the v8 Sledgehammer back in early August......
**crossing tens of thousands of square miles of breathtaking twisties through jagged mountains, scenic valleys... over raging rivers and across desolate wastelands.... no P-cars were sighted save for the lone cruise ship, totally alien to its surroundings.....

step 1 should be to install a headlight relay harness if you don't have one already, to drive the headlights off the alternator + post rather than thru the long wiring in the dash switch.
that alone will make standard bulbs a good amount brighter.
avoid silverstars, they are ****. brighter initially, but half the life of regular bulbs.
i like bulbs from these guys:
