Yes according to the factory parts list for the RS they had ET 57 fronts. If you compare the pic I posted of the RS and your car it seems the wheels sit in pretty much the same position. I bet the RS cars had rolled fenders, most track/race cars from Porsche from the era did.

Correction, my bad! The Turbo RS had 9,5" front wheels with ET 57.

Sorry for the misinformation. However 10" fronts with 265:s fits perfect.

It has the factory 911 Turbo tires. 305/30/20 rear, 245/35/20 front. The rear are 27.4"according to tire rack, front 26.8". I can get 305/25/20's at 26" tall and 255/30/20 at 26" for the front.

The rear tires really are huge. Here they are beside the 285/35/18's that came off the car.

Considering the tire is extending a full 1.2 inches further inboard I would be willing to bet it is rubbing on the inside. You also have to take into account that the tire is a half inch taller than the factory spec, this too can create problems.

As for a solution, maybe a small spacer 3 to 5 mm would help. But without pictures to see where it rubbing, it is just a WAG (wild *** guess).

You need offset approaching ET55. Keep an eye on your e-brake cables; I think they will would wear through quickly with current wheel width and offset.

Mines an s2, 11j sport technos on the rear.
^^^ as he said, definitely pay attention to your parking brake lines. They run through quickly. I caught mine rubbing after a couple superficial little chunks got rubbed off.
I put a pair of big tie wraps on each of mine to pull it closer to the spring plate/swing arm.

well heres what we ended up with. 11" lobster claws with 285/30's
the 295's were iffy. 295s probably would barely clear. BUT we first tried pirelli sottozeros (winter tire) and it turns out for some reason the casing is over .5" wider than a summer 295, and caused the inside of the tire to rub on the suspension mounting bolts (even after grinding the ends of the bolts down.) I did try some thin spacers but, it wasnt enough. was afraid of rubbing on the outer lip with any thicker spacer.
tire didnt look too stretched, will run it for now.
