Questions about 968 Coupe window glass
Is there more than one type of glass IE more or less tint?
Or did they all come the same?
It also appears that they fit 944 cars. Are these also the same only model or many different?
Looking to replace door glass from someone parting a coupe. The Lagoon Green car has quite a few scratches from idiots removing the window tint...with a flat head screw driver it appears

John I just checked PET for you. They only list one option described as "Door Window Glass Tinted". The part numbers for the late 944 catalog and 968 catalog were listed as the same.
Left: 94454202301
Right: 94454202401
Owning both an S2 and 968 I will say my 968 'Sekurit' stamp is more solid white compared to the more transparent stamp on the S2.

968 door glass definitely the same as 944. Have switched both doors as the glass both sides completely scratched full width due to sand.
I think a must is changing the outside glass felt/seal at the same time - you do not want to risk installing new or better glass with old grit-ingrained seal and ending up with the same result. Original seals are cheap and easy to replace.
