Hmmmm, I wonder if he put the price that high so no one would buy it. I thought he was going to keep it awhile...
They really should update the description then. They still list a power moonroof. I hate the generic descriptions in dealer listings.
Maybe you should send them the option list?

He has the info and the link to the speed yellow page on the registry website.

The funny thing is that one of the previous owners of the car sold the very rare and special speed yellow full leather shift **** years ago and I bought it!
It has been in my SY 968 coupe for years.

I'd say he really doesn't want (not serious) to sell the car. Great for those of us that own 968s and I will never criticize someone for setting the high water mark. Seriously awesome car and I hope he gets it...

As far as establishing value, no car sets that until it sells.

Unlike the $100k 968 which was totally unrealistic for what the car was and could almost be considered a joke posted on craigslist by some guy this car is at a legitimate Porsche dealer that sells collectible Porsches. Note the $405k 92 911 next to it. I think this dealer feels that this car is worth that much and with the prices they are bringing in Europe I don't think he is that far off. I would also go so far to say that of the 4,242 North American 968s produced, this car definitely qualifies as one of the top five most desirable in a collectible perspective. Add in the mileage and condition... IMHO of course. We'll see what the market says. And I have news of my own to share soon. Stay tuned.

As to the price, we will see. The new owner states that he will likely add it to his garage unless someone pays the asking price and I don't blame him. I wouldn't sell it for that if I owned it, but I also don't want 75 in it.
