Default No spark

So I was having the LSD and shift linkage repaired and now the old girl has decided not to start....appears maybe the EZ769 ignition module is bad and of course it's no longer an available part.....anyone else come across this and have a solution?

Check the plug for the flywheel Hall effect sensor first. It plugs into the EZ.
They have a bad habit of disintegrating.

If it is the unit, read my thread https://rennlist.com/forums/964-turb...trol-unit.html

The turbo control unit should actually be called a safety relay. It enables spark and fuel when it gets a signal from the flywheel hall effect sensor.
If you need one for troubleshooting I have one.

Doesn't the vendor ' ecu doctor' rebuild the ez69 unit, or perhaps permatune?

I wish I could, but we don't repair those units.

There used to be a company in Germany that did so, but last time I asked them they told me they were too busy for that kind of work.

I have a feeling that whoever was working on your car fried your EZ through carelessness.
It's too much of a coincidence when something like that happens.

All that was being worked on was the LSD and shift linkage so not really anything on the electrics side.....however for the last year it's had intermittent RPM issues with the gauge going dead arbitrarily and bouncing all over. We had replaced the sending unit last year and it seemed to help for a bit but still had erratic readings at times.....
I saw in an old thread that Cobalt had a couple of spares for a 3.3.......hoping he might still have them
