The Unicorn found me, someone from Reenlist replied and offered to buy my Chassis, I politely declined the offer. After some talking and bonding as we Porsche guys do, he offered to sell me one of his engines and G50/52 trans, He had bought two 965 engines hoping find a chassis, but 965 chassis are hard to come by he says.

My 1992 965 engine and G50/52 are safely in my garage. Thanks to Thomas at FSR SportAuto in Germany. Next step will be the install, and hopefully she will start...

Nice - looks like a beautiful motor. Did you - or will you do - a leakdown prior to install? I hope so.

I just bought a known good used motor for my Audis S4 2.7TT and after sitting in my friends garage for a year one cylinder wouldn't seal during leakdown test. Likely just oxidation type issue on the valves for the cylinder that wasn't sealed while it sat - and it may have cleared up once running but not a risk I was willing to take so had heads redone...and all that stuff. Anyway - just my .02.

Thank you guys, the shop had done a leak down and it checked out great . i was told it has 40400 miles. by the looks of it, It looks to be low miles.
