As always Tony your car is a show stopper....looks incredible

That Tahoe blue also looks real nice. Was it because of lighting , as I thought Tahoe was a little more pale or washed out.

Here are some shots from the event. I am not sure what happened but Brian4lev's Tahoe Blue turbo was supposed to be staged near mine but never made it out onto the fairway. I have to admit the Bridge fairway and greens were amazing and far nicer than Amelia. Incredible backdrop and history.

look for some content in P7 and Petroliscious. It was late at night when i took the picture of the tahoe blue turbo and the lighting didn't help, it was far darker when I took that but it is a simple Iphone camera. I had at least 50 people tell me that it was their favorite car at the show. There had to be well over $100 million in cars on display

The money shot. I won't say what someone offered me for the car but it is double what I had been offered before making it very hard to say No.

A rare real 4 cam speedster and a field of amazing cars.

I've seen a lot of photos of your car over the years and in person.

That money shot is really awesome.

Great pic! We will get these two blue's together soon enough I am sure. Tony-your Cobalt is magical. I saw it from a mile away when I was coming up the lawn! Porsche knew what they were doing when they blessed us with these gems! Drive them and enjoy them! Thanks for the great pic. I have a few others that I will put in a few minutes.

Hi Brian,... can I ask my question again from my post 885 above? ...

Was yours another 3.6 Turbo (like Mike's Bad Boys car), that had factory black calipers instead of red?

Yes correct they were black from the factory and added to the option list on the sticker at No Charge. I had the calipers refurbished and preserved the original Porsche font.
See sticker below.

Brian,

So based on the pictures above we were most likely within a few feet of each other at the reception. When I heard Calder's grandson was there I was a little taken aback. About 20 years ago he called me at my business and cursed me out for making fakes of his fathers and other great artists work. I calmly told him I had no idea what most of the parts I make are used for and since I wasn't the one perpetrating the crime there was nothing I could do but stop making the parts for the individual. He was Ok with that but never heard anyone talk that way to me before other than some Major Generals yelling at me for parts for the Presidential helicopter. Didn't think it was wise to introduce myself. LOL My customer was incarcerated and I never saw or heard from him again other than an article in Newsweek a month later explaining the entire thing. I have pieces of what might be original Giocometti walking man statues that make great yard art. Nobody claimed them so who knows.

I wish we could have had the two facing each other at the reception it would have made for a fantastic photo. Two rare and gorgeous colors and a backdrop you rarely find. I could get used to more events like that. The food, drink and venue were all that and more.

Funny how the original window stickers like mine (M718 coded early vin car) show no up charge for special order paint but all the later non M718 coded cars seem to. I also have a friend with black calipers on an early vin 718 coded 94T and they charged $250 for the option and $350 for polished centers. Some strange stuff happened back then.

Agreed we need to get the cars together one day maybe get Mike to bring out the Bad Boys car one more time.

Default Road trip from Moscow to Georgia!

It was dreaming to have trip outside of Russia with my Turbo for several years. Last two years I have made only 500 miles with it, beacouse we made huge service for all car, reseal engine and gearbox, sometime it takes a lot more time instead your expectations.
So it was spontaneous ride with my girlfriend to beautiful country of Georgia. We put our Turbo to car trailer going 2000 km trip to Vladikavkaz and take flight there by plane.

Placing at trailer

Its not easy way to take trip in covid time, so we did it and have good trip in mountain and seaside part of Gergia

Makes trip from capital Tbilisi to Batumi on the Black sea coast, with one night stop in Kutaisi city.

two of my beauties ))

Old Batumi streets

Kutaisi city

Kutaisi city

Old Batumi streets
Then we go to Kahetia region, its beautiful and huge valley with a lot ot vinery an chateau producing Georgian vine.

Quareli lake in mountains

on the way

So beautiful you cant drive, needed to stop every 10 min for photo))

Some good view on Alazanian valley

After 2 weeks we made over 1200 miles with Turbo, from 5 degrees C to 35, from sea level to 2850 meters high in highest mountain pass on Georgian Military road (old named in Ussr, road between Russia and Georgia), car was perfect, absolutely no problems at all))

Chrest Pass over 2800 meters high

Somewhere between Russia and Georgia boards
After that we put Turbo to the trailer and off to Moscow)) hope you enjoy photos of our small trip))
