Well, I am still learning a lot about my new car.. Not a huge fan of the Oil level sending unit

I am not at the point of trusting it yet. I know the proper procedure for checking it, but would like to know other's experience


Does anyone have a very rough estimate of how much oil these cars use on a per tank of gas basis, or per X miles driven? How often are you topping it up?

Internet wisdom is one liter (or quart) per 1000 miles is acceptable.
Mine uses one quart every 1700 miles.

I was around 700-800 miles per quart with 141,000 miles when I had mine.
