Thanks for the pic Jim.

I am building a car and need the same wheel sizes and offsets I see they fitted a 305 in the back which helps me determine what tires i can run. Any shots of the fronts and tire sizes?

Anthony - fronts are suppose to be 9" and from the pictures I have seen believe they are 1.75 and 7". Sorry no front wheel pictures, not sure exactly what I was thinking years ago and I can assure you if in that warehouse again I would have completely used all the memory in my camera for pictures. I did find one more of the rear wheel. jdorociak@gmail.com jim

Thanks for checking.

I will be building a wheel set

9 x 18 ET 48
11 x 18 ET 5

Not sure what front tire but I now know a 305 will work.

These things just weren't as important back then. We all new this day would come just never realized how quickly the prices would rise.

If I knew then what I know now. I can only imagine. Where is Emett Brown when you need him LOL.

Yes, seems that no one's making 305-18 tires except Hoosier and Kumho and they are track tires so you may be in luck, Anthony.

Unfortunately even the narrow body trailing arms get in the way on the 964 I might be able to push a 315 but then there is sidewall flex to consider.

Sizing is an issue I like the R1-s's but they now only offer a 285 or a 315 might have to consider what they would offer me. If I do a 315 I have to see if I can fit an 11.5

I have a lot to mull over and time is running out.

Back to the thread.

forgot to hit upload button - here's some shots of my 1991 964 turbo with less than 6700 miles. Interior still smells new inside.

Nice car very low mileage.

Here are some cars I just found although just turbos

http://www.luxsport.com/1994-porsche...urbo-c-85.htm?

http://www.luxsport.com/1992-porsche...oupe-c-91.htm?

This last one is listed as a turbo S

http://www.luxsport.com/1994-porsche...urbo-c-63.htm?

This car was discussed years ago and sat unsold a low price of $89k IIRC there were some concerns about the mileage on the car IIRC. Even if it did have issues price seems very low for a turbo S

I have no idea what these places are like but I am hearing more and more horror stories about these boutique shops all over the place claiming to have the best of the best.

Although you do have RPM in your back yard all it takes is the right price I am sure he has a few.

for both models we find here one of the reasons why the official counts are still presented wrong by Porsche
Who was he? Dead?

Why do you say Porsche official count is wrong? Here is a link to the official 2004 Porsche AG released '911 History' DVD http://turbosleichtbau.com/Found%20I...HistoryDVD.jpg

Has anyone ever seen a 3.3 Lightweight reproduction wing? I like the look. I was told Folger Styling might have made one but I don't think they are around anymore.
