Totally right ! The RS-Steering technology was not available for RHD cars - its the same for the later produced RS 3.8 Roadversions.

But not really sursprising as we exactly have same kind of situation with some other special Porsche models of which both versions ( sport, comfort ) were available.
And by the way, nothing is impossible at Porsche... Should one RHD customer have said : I want a nacked, no frills RHD Leichtbau, he would have got it ! No doubt.

To echo 30's statement, it's difficult to make assumptions about how any Porsche was equipped leaving the factory as Porsche is willing to build any car to a customer's specifications.

Hi Guys,
I just wanted to clarify that my car is a UK RHD and did not come with, power steering, air con, stereo or airbags.. Built as it was meant too be , there is a nice article form 1993 in the Porsche 911 gold portfolio book ( brooklands books ) about my car showing factory collection and the journey back to the UK.

As usual with Porshe things are never easy... and if all RHD cars seem to have power steering, they did not came with all the comfort elements one could think about ( have to disagree with you Secretcollector, not all RHD Leichtbaus have airbags ) : e.g. Faldo's car indeed has power steering but neither airbags nor air conditioner.
Same thing with your car Msn911 : If ( on paper ) it came without airbag and air conditioner, it should however have power steering... which you seem to disagree with ?!

... at Pannhorst, one of the most significant Porsche specialists in Germany. Some of you will recognize this car : it was part of the Auto Collection ( Las Vegas ) a couple of years back.

What's ugly about it? One of the most important and rare modern Porsche's, in a classic silver, with an interior that only Exclusive could produce? Maybe the purple wheels could have been silver, but overall, a piece of art from and for a museum.

There's an old saying in the car business "a butt for every seat" so I'm sure some will think this car's the biz but it ain't my cup of tea.

not a very attractive color combination: silver, purple and too much red.
The silver makes the lines and surface details like the big gaps stand out too much. A darker color like grey looks better on these.

Never liked the lipstick interior. My sister had a boyfriend that had a white over lipstick C2 back in the day not sure what was uglier the car or his personality.

Yeah, that lipstick red is too much red. It needed black accents (dash, arm rests, carpet) and even then I feel like it was too much.
GT magazine had an article featuring a Polar Silver/lipstick red S a few years back. Same interior (every inch covered in red leather, even the a/c vents) and the same problem, IMO.
