Thanks that is interesting. 284 yet no 718 code. This is the first I have seen under 288 without 718 code. Could you verify your engine serial number is either P or R coded, I can't read the fine print

Also it looks like another US spec car no longer in the US. I am starting to think we have far less US spec 94's in the US than we think.

Engine number is 61R00503

My 965 is US spec which was bought in US and then export to Russia, it has speedo in miles and tempreture in F (insted kms and C).

Thank you. So far you are the first big anomaly. Being # 284 all info would point you should have a P code engine and 718 coded chassis. You car must have been the first of the full R coded if not the first full R coded US spec car. Learning something new about these cars all the time.

Haven't been around much lately. Bump this up to the top and see if we get any more info.

Thanks.

Ok so I just got info on 39 additional cars. The vin numbers range from 076 to 466 so no vins in the 060 or below range so far. This looks more and more as though there were only 350 stock US turbos were imported to the US.

Although this is still just speculation.

The basics are the 3 digits sunroof, crested center caps supple leather You can always use this site to help. http://www.kindel.com/Porsche/options.asp

The 5 digit codes are special wishes codes. There is really no way to tell. It would appear you have a number of leather and possibly wood or deviated stitching, piping etc options on your car.
