Fitment of Keskin KT2 on 91 Turbo
My brother just purchased a 1991 grand prix white 965 that the seller had RH rims on it, but not inlcuded in the sale. The car will be arriving with (yet to be confirmed) original Porsche Turbo Twists (993 or 996? hollow spokes). Because he wanted the "look" of the 3.6 cars, he opted (price into consideration) the Keskin wheels.
I noticed that they are not an exact match regarding offsets from factory (fronts are 8.5" ET52 vs. 8" ET52 and rears are 9.5" ET52 vs. 10" ET 61). So, will there be any fitment issues? Spacers required? I just forgot how to compensate for offset difference and taking into account rim width difference too.
Thanks for the help!

So no fitment issues even thought the offsets are completely different from factory specs? Guess that the rim width difference makes up for it then.
Thanks Tim.

Exactly right - although of course there are no factory specs for 18" wheels on a 3.3 turbo - they were fitted with 17" wheels with ET55 on both front and rear.

The 18s in 9.5 on the rear look a little strange (narrow), I wonder why NO aftermarket company has come up with an inexpensive replica 10" rear - there would be A LOT of buyers of an 18x8x10 replica setup.

He got 225/40s and 285/35 Sumis for the rims. Hopefully the "look" will not be too bad. The seller is sending the car with Turbo Twists (hollow) on them that required spacers and longer bolts, so who knows if these spacers may be required or not to properly fill in the wells.

why don't you go with RH instead of Keskin. I think they look better than the Keskin wheels.
The bolts on the RH wheels are similar to the original speedlines. I think the Keskin wheels look a little fake

Its a bit late for that now as the order has been placed and arriving tomorrow. The car had RH wheels on it, but was not part of the contracted price. It could be worse, he could be driving with D90s!
And yes, I know D90s will not clear Turbo brakes.

Well for what its worth my 1991 3.3 came with a set of aftermarket speedline replicasFronts are 8x18,ET 52,tyres,225/40x18.Rears are 9.5x18,ET 47,tyres,265/35x18.Tyres are Avon.I think this package is offered on ebay.co.uk.They look great on the car but I'll be changing them for original 17" cups(if I can find any and if my son will let me cos we bought it together).

I ended up getting the Keskins, but agree with those above that they just don't look right - the step outer lip from the factory Speedlines weren't there, despite the pic's on ebay showing them (used generic 3.6 photos instead of actual ones). So, I purchased used Work Brombacher's from a fellow Rennlister who included PS2's in almost new condition. He had them in his 993TT, but when I installed them on mine, the rears stuck out too much. I ended up ordering slimmer barrels (only) from Work in Japan and waited 3 months for delivery, after which I had the centers painted gold, and assembled. They really look the part now, and I was able to sell both the Keskins and the turbo twists... Pictures will follow Monday as I'm away from my computer, but the car has been a work in progress since buying it in March, and I admit to spending too much time and $$$ at the shop, where it currently is at.

Here's some recent ones at a PCA event held across the street from where I live down here in Miami... I had been quoted $3,600 for new Brombacher's, and I purchased mine for $2K incl. tires, but spent the other $1,600 between paint and the replacement barrels, but still cheaper than having gotten the new ones because the used ones came with tires (and PS2s at that!)... I need to do up and introduce myself to this forum with the car, but its still work in progress and I just need to make the time to take decent pics with a nice Miami background...

I saw/drove my brother's car a few weeks ago and I just have three words to describe it: HOLY $H!T WOW. Looks a lot better in person than these wanna be iPhone pics show. Had a short ride in it and made my previous/current cars (MZ3 Coupe Euro spec with 321hp, 99 Carrera 2, and currently Cayenne Turbo) feel as if I was pulling two boats behind my cars. Have driven modified 930s before, but his car is a lot more brutal than I recall.
Wheels look "old school", but I think they are the perfect match to a car of this vintage. Would only consider BBS LMs or OEM 3.6s, but love the way the wheels turned out.
