I've only seen two other Porsches in Amazon Green; a 911 and a 968. I've been led to believe that there were only three 1992 Turbo's imported in that color. Don't know if that's a fact or not, but I've not seen another.
I suspect that it is one of those colors that don't look like much on a paint chip, but look terrific in real life.
When does the new toy arrive?
(p.s., Thanks for posting the picture)

I tell you there are a few of these Pearlcoat paints that were tremendous colors, yet most bought the traditional colors back then. I don't think you can get a feel of what these paints are all about unless you see them in person. I doubt the little swatch showed any of the color changes.

Yasir,
The headers are B&B and the exhaust is Techart. I don't remeber how to post the picture (senior moment) so here is the URL http://forums.rennlist.com/upload/96...rear_copy1.jpg.
Colin, what rims do you have on 38D?

Sonny,
Thanks! R u still in OC? We should take a drive some weekend. Krispy Kreme w/ PCA??
Cobalt,
We have 4 black cars and its a full time job keeping them clean. Living in So. CA helps a lot! By the way, I love that Amazon green. My buddy had a 968 in that color and looked awesome at night (green, blue, black all kinds of different shades).
YS,
Stock exhaust with Fabspeed tips.
Roadkill,
Thanks. Mostly Meguiars.

I will be at the April 2nd OCR breakfast meeting at Hof's Hut across from Johnway airport on Douglas street, around 8:20 am. After the breakfast, there will be a funcours (concours tech session) at home one house in Irvine.
Hope to see you there.
I spent the weekend washd and cleaned my 3 cars and of course it rained this morning, and 2 of them got wet and dirty again,

Chris,
In due time. My rides in the paintshop now and will be done in 2 weeks at the most after which I will post pics inside out. No carpeting, reupholstered dash in napp leather and stiched in yellow, DAS sport weekenders bar, no AC and much more to come. Will keep you'll posted.

It's been a while since I've had the camera out, but decided to wash the car and see what pictures I could get. Polar Silver in the Autumn sun still makes for a difficult photo, but you can see that it's clean and curvaceous!
