jmcarrera,

Welcome aboard and very nice.

I am guessing the color is the rather rare Amathyst Pearl effect 38A? Rather Unique and great color. What is the interior?

Thanks for the welcome!

JBH: I live in Alicante, in the Mediterranean area. A lot of sun and beaches... ... a very nice place.

Cobalt: Yes, the color is amathist pearl effect 38A, and the interior is in black leather.

You may have but I don't recall. She looks great. Really nice color. Did she come with the big reds? Hope to see you again and your beautiful turbo at the Picnic.

No, the brakes were upgraded prior to my purchase to 993 TT brakes, and SS brake lines. Also, H&R Coilovers, Borla Exhaust, Cat Bypass. I am considering GHL headers. Also tinkering with the audio system right now.

So you have big reds in the rear also? No handbrake then? How do you pass inspection?

Sounds like you got a great deal. I read somewhere that the B&B headers may produce more HP. The head unit is the weakest link in these cars. My PO replaced all the speakers with MB quart and new amp. Kept the stock head unit and CD player and it still sucks. Althoough I never turn the radio on in this car. I just replaced the same head unit in the GTS with a Nakamichi CD 500 with 47 watts per channel built in. Quite a major improvement. MP3 compatable 24 bit. A bit pricey but very nice.

I had posted earlier about a conversion I found. Well I had a very good PPI done on the car. I talked to the previous owner. I thank you guys for the info on PPI. It passed excellent. The bodies a c4 wide body with a 3.6 turbo engine dropped in. The previous owner was going to make it a track car. He spent quite a bit of money on the upgrades etc. He had the a/c, heat all removed. I'm going need help on the part on were to get my heat and a/c components. He had passed away like 1 week after the conversion was done. So it never saw the track. I hope its not haunted. So his wife ended up selling it to this dealership. I saw the car and thought I never plan on selling the thing. Its been my dream car since seeing bad boys. So why not go for it I got a good deal on my trade and the price was right on this car. So I took the jump. I know its not a Original turbo 3.6 but for me its close enough.

So is it AWD or rear? Sounds good although heat means you are going to need to replace the exhaust headers with ones that have heater boxes or have boxes custom fabricated to fit the existing headers.
Adding AC back in will be costly also. Could be looking at 3-5K to do both. She looks good although you may want to think about doing some suspension work. She is sitting at stock hight and you will find better handling and looks with it lowered to euro height. You are looking at another 2500 to 4000 there.

Good luck with it i am sure you will enjoy it tremendously. Keep us posted and enjoy the ride and attention you will be getting.

Its RWD. I figured it would cost that much to get it right. I guess thats my winter project on the car. I'm hoping to get it by next week. There still putting the extras I asked them to put in.
