Default RS engine mounts + hardware

I have a little play in the stock engine mounts (not huge, but the bolt will 'wiggle' by hand easily enough) and with everything removed from the bottom of the engine and rear of the car now would be an opportune time to replace them.

Quality oem versions of the 964 RS mount are readily available (compared to the price of something like the Rennline mounts, or solid mounts - which I do not want). But I understand we need a longer bolt is needed for the turbo mounting cradle compared to the C2. Anyone know the sizes or if there are any other issues using 964 RS mounts over the standard turbo parts?

I installed a pair of RS mounts in 2014 when I did my engine-out reseal and cam replacement.
I really like them. The rear end of the car tracks better than having the engine slosh around, not following the chassis into a turn.
You will either need to find inch longer bolts or mod the engine beam to use the bolts that are supplied with the mounts.

I used 12mm x 105mm Bolts. All good for now.

The Rennline adjustable mounts for the 964 turbo seem like the least expensive option I've seen -- $249 for the pair

Thanks folks. I've just ordered a pair of 964/993 RS mounts (aftermarket versions) from Type 911 (https://type911shop.co.uk/964-/-993-...et-Aftermarket) - after speaking to the owner they stated that the bolts they supply are long enough for the 964 Turbo and that they've sold several sets to other owners wanting to do exactly the same thing.

The tuneable Rennline mounts are nice, but current exchange rates/import fees put them closer to £400 for the pair from UK suppliers

Aftermarket RS mount kit arrived today:

Bolts appear to be ~120mm long.

Bumping this up to report my experiences with the aftermarket RS motor mount kit.

I noticed that when I jacked up the car from the case, the engine moved before the car did! There was about 1/2 of an inch of play.
After a fair amount of incredulity (how did I fail to torque these bolts properly, etc.) we worked out that all of that play was in the rubber bushing.
Reading between the lines on some other discussions, it seems like the RS kit is not designed for an engine as heavy or as powerful as the one in the 964 Turbo: mine have been in the car for less than a year.

More investigation revealed that the Rennline 930 version won't mount to the 965 body and the Rennline 964 version won't mount to the 965 engine carrier because it uses a stud not a through bolt.
I'm now looking for a different option for the car. Does anyone have experience with the Stomski racing semi-solid mounts?

I purchased 965375049 and 050 three years ago. They arrived with paper sticker showing these part numbers, but the engraving/stamping on the metal is 964375049 and 050. I am very happy with them, minimum movement, excellent NVH.

And I just bought a second set for the other car and the price is almost doubled!

Yes, I looked at the OEM ones but I'm offended by the idea of spending $2000 on some hydraulic motor mounts.
I spoke with Stomski Racing today and they're going to send me out a set of their semi-solid mounts. They weren't 100% on 965 compatibility but there's a real person there and they seemed committed to making it work. I'll report back.
