Default Look at these dreamy floormats

If someone were to produce era-correct floor mats, I'd pay triple the other guys...

... Yea I think I've created yellow snow letters that look better than those.

I've used Autos International in the past with very good results. They are known to have a LOT of Sliverknit carpet in stock to replicate any of the vintages. They advertise in the PCA Panorama.

Dorian took care of me, build was timely, shipment was accurate and over the years Concours judges have never even questioned them. They have the correct fiber honeycomb backing & border. Although not sure if they would also do embroidery (never asked). They do mostly accurate recreation of originals.

Love the footage of that yellow Ruf on the Ring. Bought the Porsche "Victory by Design" DVD years ago for my garage video collection. I think that has music over top of the footage too.

Not sure if there is another DVD out there that has more of that same footage but with the actual engine soundtrack.

Steve,

Do you have pictures?

I have been looking for embroidered replicas of the original turbo mats but everything I find is a patch sewn onto a correct mat and the size is too small.

my originals from '91 do not have any embroidery on them. they are straight black.

Did the '94 come with the word "Turbo" on them?

... but no, I don't have pictures of them handy, but I can take some if you want to see the edges & backing.

Plus, Autos Int'l may indeed embroider them for you too. Give them a call. Karin Dulak & Carolina Gonzalez cover their Front Desk. And Dorian is one of their Tech's.

They are very technical about their specs too,... so I'm thinking if you had the exact size of the letters, spacing, distances, font, etc,... they could replicate.

I could send them an original. Might consider it. Mine have matching silver turbo embroidery to my rear seats but only say turbo. I am assuming they are original since they are an exact match for the rear seat embroidery size, thread and stitch, but the drivers mat has been a bit used.

Oh that could be quite a thing, to be able to replicate the original turbo embroidery. Maybe if Anthony did that they would then keep the template and be able to replicate original exactly for everyone else...

^ I have to pull them out of storage and take pictures, I replaced them with some lloyd mats to preserve the originals as much as possible. I will see what I can do but I have to locate them amongst all the other parts.

Bumping this if anyone has a picture of the original mats / embroidery / impression relief of the 'turbo' on the front mats?

Wish I could help, but my Mac broke and this old windows PC is being uncooperative. Need to buy something just haven't figured out what to get.
