Here is my WUR. Are there basic observations I can make to know if it has failed? No air pressure can pass through the fuel ports. I didn’t try a lot of PSI, for fear of damage. On the back in the threaded hole it looks like a bolt broken off/out. Perhaps normal. Screen clear, no sign of buildup.

The AAV tested fine.

Check this out,

It may be your turbo control unit or your multi function unit under drivers seat that went bad.

Something electronic sounds right actually. I get the sense of some kind of ignition interruption happening when trying to run up the RPMs. I wonder if there’s a guy who fixes these units as I’m not great with sorting electronics / solders / etc.

Anyone have a unit lying around that I can use to test if this is what's bad? The dismantler guy has one used but I wouldn't want to run another one that could fail...so I would buy a new one if I knew it was the issue...

Here are the insides of my units. Nothing visibly fried:

Does this look about right for OHM resistance of the WUR?

It should be in the 12 volt range at the plug I think if it's any higher it will raise the pressure to high, the higher the voltage the pressure.
Voltage regulator may need to be checked as well as the control units. You could try running a constant 12 volts to the WUR and try starting your car. It won't harm anything.

BREAKTHROUGH - finally got a control pressure reading by bypassing the fuel return line from WUR. Something must must have moved to stop the flow during the car wash.

Looking for ideas from people who know the fuel system.

- Does the buzzer (frequency valve) need to be running for fuel to be able to get back to tank?
- Can the system pressure regulator malfunction and interfere with return flow?
- Is there another fuel regulator behind the air flow meter that can cause stoppage?
- What else might break or change causing fuel return blockage?

CASE CLOSED. thanks everyone for your help. Turned out to be a failed (brand new) system pressure regulator. I found the new one to be strangely sticky, so moved the new oring back to the old one and installed it. Suddenly fuel back to tank is flowing again. Warm control pressure 4 bar - 65 Fahrenheit. Maybe needs a little tweak.

Took her down the hill for a fresh tank of gas and on Mulholland on the way home she turned 36. tweaked the idle AFR back to 14.5 at a steamboat steady 950RPM. Running amazingly.
