Default best place to jack up the turbo

need to jack up the turbo so all four wheels are off the floor, when i last did this i struggled as i really needed a central point to jack up the car so i could slide the axle stands in the sides
are there any safe points without damaging the car front and rear where the car will lift both wheels at a time

I don't trust lifting from anywhere but the four jack points. But when I've needed to have the entire car up on 4 jacks, I've just jacked one rear side, and slide a jack under the front same side. The car is stiff enough that the front comes up too.

Then I just move myself around the car. Yes it takes a little while, but I would rather be safe than fast.

What was the process that you last used,.. that caused you trouble?

I jack on the crankcase all the time with on the flat portion new the transaxle. It won't hurt a thing.
If your car still has air injection you will have to move more to the rear of the car and cut a groove on a puck or block of wood to clear the crankcase flange.

I am with metal guru. Jack it on the transaxle case for both rear wheels or on the rear body lift points to raise either left or right side. I use a low-line jack and solid rubber block on the case.

Yes forgot to mention the rubber block! It's what I use.

Yes, I have a set and I have been happy with them. I use 2"X 8"s under the tires to get my floor jack under the center of the bar. A lower profile jack might might work better.
