It's been a while!
It's been a few years since I last posted anything, so i figured I would drop in and say hi with a few pictures! Just had a major service completed in this car as well as a full paint correction with a few layers of ceramic pro added, so some pictures are in order. Enjoy!

Handsome car... rare to see one so original these dayz.
|
Thank you sir! I'm dying to modify it but it's too much of a time capsule car.
I have actually considered selling it to buy a higher mileage one that needs TLC haha |
A lovely example of a low mile original 964. Are you bringing it to the PVGP? I may have to vote for this
car over mine in "peoples choice". Mine has >150K miles, a 993 engine and a duck tail that hasn't been painted yet. |
30,000 miles?? DO NOT MODIFY IT! That would be crazy. Even the prototipo steering wheel is too much for a 30,000 mile car. This is a high value car that must be in original condition to get top dollar. As much as I hate D90 wheels, they have to stay on this car. Some cars are drivers and mod vehicles, this ain't it. I wouldn't even drive this car. Only two options, sell it now, or store it and sell it later. This is guaranteed money in the bank.
Low mileage cars are sad because you really can't enjoy them. They are basically investments. |

I couldn't pass up purchasing the car, but i definitely can't enjoy it as much as i would like because of the mileage and originality. The plan is to definitely buy a higher mileage car that needs help for some enjoyment! |
Your car is gorgeous! I like the Prototipo. Nothing wrong with doing a few (easily reversible) mods to make the car your own. Fact is, it's your car, you can do anything you want.
I've taken my 964 to Cars & Coffee a few times, last time I drove a Volvo 780 with 5.0 swap. This weekend I will be out at the track in Beaver with the vintage racers. I probably shouldn't tell you, there's a Porsche car show at Station Square on August 19th. |
Oh wow, I definitely need to see that Volvo! I will also be out at the Beaver track for the vintage cars this weekend.
Come to think of it, I've actually met you before at CNC. I was introduced to you by the Audi guys back in the day when I drove a silver b5 s4. If its an open meet at Station Square, i would definitely come check it out! let me know |
Yes, that was me. I also have a black RS6 Avant. I'll be working in the Paddock at Pitt Race this weekend, not sure which car I'm driving to the track.
The show at Station Square is a PCA event. Info at www.arpca.com |
Where did you get the Porsche button for the Prototipo?

I purchased one off of eBay. Here are two options. I purchased the newer version. It presents well and doesn't look cheap!
