I put a new sealed bearing back on, lubricated with Napa Sir Glyde (waterproof), re lubricated the rotating cable with silicon spray lube. I then carefully cleaning the mating surfaces with rubbing alcohol and made sure I wasn't gluing where i put grease. I used two part epoxy from Loctite and clamped it tight overnight making sure everything kept spinning fine via the cable after clamping. Works great now! Spoiler raises and lowers via the manual control. Thanks everyone for your help.

Ricardo, are you getting a spoiler error message when you reach 75 mph and it doesn't go up on its own (or does it) and another when it tries to come back down at 45 mph?

If not, your spoiler function might be coded off so it never goes up and why the button won't raise it either. That has to be corrected by a Durametric Pro or PIWIS.

This is a Porsche 964.
The spoiler control unit does not have a OBD connection, and thus no "coding" features, nor any error messages except for the warning light. The rear wing shall go up at 80km/h (50mph) and down again at 5km/h. (3mph)
Cheers,
Tore

My fault. This thread must have been under a similar one I was looking at in the 997 forum and missed the transition point between them.

Default Need just the plastic gear housing?

My gear housing split apart where it was previously glued. In the process, the plastic housing for the spoiler transmission broke. Any chance anyone knows where I can just buy the plastic housing for 964 624 121 00? I have all the other pieces, but not sure if that will help me. Trying to avoid buying a whole new +$300 part for just the housing. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
