What makes your car "different or special?"

My car is different because while driving tonight hard around corners I got a strong whiff of fuel. Very strong. A pop of the fuel fill door and voila......my fuel cap must be sitting atop the gas pump at the last place I got fuel........That likely makes mine very rare and different at this moment.

Might just be the interior that sets mine apart, not many 964s with Coco mats on Linen Grey with blue piping. Now also rocking a Function First shift ****, Momo Prototipo with leather horn crest and Rennline pedal board and pedals.

It isn't a one of one, but I don't think it is common. I have seen pictures of 3 other cars on the web with similar treatment. 2 '94 turbos and a '94 C2 cab. From what I have found it looks to be limited to the 94 model year.
It is factory option code 10011 - SITZE: KEDER DER VORDERSITZE IN LEDER *VF* #=LEDER AUS ANGEBOT #SIEHE EHEM. ZA 424

Late build 94's started using a bunch of 993 parts. The door strikers, Ribbless door seals, center latched glove box and other parts were used. At the same time early 993's carried over a bunch of 964 parts.
Interestingly my 93 928 GTS has the same seat color and carpet but it was just listed as cashmere. Not sure if it had to do with the leather vs vinyl and dyes used at the time or was an option. The turbo pictured and my GTS have full leather seats vs the 964 which came with leather faced only unless optioned with full leather.
I have always made changes to my cars in one way or another. My C2 is nothing special but it has an RSA wing, H1's, Tech Art splitter, Turbo 3.6 mud flaps, 18" turbo sized Fikse FM10's with special order silver painted face, full RS suspension plus camber plates mono ***** etc. Big blacks, cross drilled factory rotors, Rothsport shifter, goldenrod etc, Atiwe three spoke wheel, gage surrounds, Nack deck, SS door sills. I had a set of Sportster CS seats in black from my turbo so I decided to mount them in the car. I then decided I wanted more black so I added black pieces to tone down the tan. Then of course there is the custom exhaust and chip which bring it to 291BHP and screams at WOT.
Everything is bolt on so I can revert it back but nothing overly special or custom. Although the car is uniquely mine.

Mine doesn't drip oil! Either I need to put more in or it's very unique.

When I bought my 964, I did so with the intention of some modifications that I always wanted to incorporate into a 911. The clean look of race mats always appealed to me, even though I don't enjoy my cars on the track. I really just liked how uncluttered and efficient the floor boards looked. I'm liking the car as it is at the moment, though I have a few things planned. A few pics:
The door cards didn't match as planned, but I'm at ✌️ with it! I love the richness of the leather and basket weave on the pockets next to the otherwise spartan interior.
The Fuchs wheels, I love. The forged alloys were an obvious choice for me when they became available:
The seats are recaro LS's, with some design changes. Momo wheel, I really don't like the airbag wheel so it had to go. I also disliked the factory carpet as it's plushness seemed incongruous with the raw, muscular feel of the car. It's like the factory tried to design some softness into the interior as an afterthought. Radio delete was an easy one as I wanted simplicity. Removing all the speaker wire, amp, speakers and head unit was very cathartic.
I pulled the blower to have more visibility in the engine. Still need to remove the A/C.
Strut brace, which isn't really needed in these cars. The 964 feels like its machined out of a billet of steel, but fabspeed ran a rennlist deal so, in she went.
I wanted a duck tail, but didn't want to part with the deck lid. I like that the actuating spoiler stays intact with this piece.
The porsche valve caps added at least 3 bhp at the wheels.
The KW V3 suspension was a nice upgrade too. I did wevo blacks and an uparmored engine carrier at the same time and it tightened everything up.
That's most of it for now, other than some mechanical things. I think the car will continue to evolve. What a joy the 964 is!
Happy Father's Day guys. I've ignored my kids for 20 minutes putting this together, so time to get back to it. 🍻

Tmistry- very nice. Also good to see one of the rear center light substitution panels in use.
Where did you source that? How is it attached?
Thanks
