After a crazy winter at the body shop with record snow and record accidents, work has picked up again.

Interesting tyre tread pattern on those 928(?) wheels. What tyres?

Better light today. They glued in the door seals. Remains the thin glass GT2 rear window, the front trunk seal, a general cleanup and polish.

The paintshop did a fantastic job with the panel gaps and overall fitment. The paint looks amazing too, can’t wait to see it in sunlight!

Agree with that.
Best part: No bondo. None.
Takes some serious skill. They have taken this job as a testimony of their skills, and take pride in making a more enthusiast oriented car from time to time.

This is giving me envy. My top finish is wearing through and I’ve biding my time until I’m ready to put the $ into a full respray. That glassy finish is just gorgeous.

Amazing! Please don't put it in bad weather. May I ask the approximate cost of this restoration?

Body shop cost (back to bare metal, repair sans bondo, repaint): between 10-20K$

Won't ever see snow again. Might have to start the cycle again and get a water cooler for winter...
