Yes Anthony, I mean 3.6 993 T.
I see at Sunset a price range for 964 Turbo disk between 276.96-187.85$.
Someone builds custom hats with correct offset for front disks 964 RS / Turbo?

where do i get such a combo? I would like to stick with my current setup... Brake power is brilliant... My buddies with 96GT3s, 97GT3, 91GT3 and GT4 are always laughing about my (late) brake points and the "things" i do on the brake with my old blue car...
About "softer" pads: i have some sets of pagid blue, orange and mint left.. I`ll use them and after that, i will also check other brands like dixcel, endless, haw and PFC... List price for the RS-discs is craczy. A rear disc was some years ago round about 350,-€ per disc. I have two sets now and hope they last quite long.. the front discs have been cheaper, but the price-tag increases every year... Some years ago, i paid >300,-€ for one turbo 3.6 disc at a porsche dealer.. after that, i started sourcing my brake-stuff online and was able to get some deals over the last years....
The problem is not the price itself nor the cracks.. it is the combination. If i would have a ~100,-€ solution per disc, the crack would not bother me... but with >300 per disc and cracks after one (hard) event, that`s no option... When i can have a disc-solution, that would last two or three seasons (3 up to 5 trackdays per year and some tourist-laps @ the ring), this would be fine, even when the disc is up to 500,-€....

I am confused why they are so much cheaper here than by you. I would expect it to be the other way around considering exchange rates, shipping etc. I have the RS rears and 964 turbo 3.6 fronts on my C2 and they cost me less than $200 each for factory parts.

got first offer for two piece discs with tarox rotors... alloy hat.
Pair of complete discs with hat ist 800,-€. Pair of replacement rotors without hat is 720,-€ (*haha*).
Well. That`s not my understanding of a smart alternative solution... i have to keep on my research..

found an other solution today.
Made a deal for two pairs of 3.6T discs in UK. One disc was less than 100,-€ in the end. Even less than 80,-€ including shipping :-)
Fingers crossing everything is working well and they have not done any cheating with the porsche-order-numbers in the article description...
I`ll (ab)use this rotors first and then searching for a new solution in some years..
Best regards
Thilo

BTW has anyone seen these rotors before? I am not familiar with them. they appear to be 322mm but have a 6/5 hole pattern. These were on a RUF BTR I saw yesterday

but also roughly 1k€ for two discs...
had my rotors of today. the cracks are just at the outside of the rotor. The inner side has nearly nothing (on both rotors)... Pads are "free" and do not jam in any way...

just weighed my big reds and stock 322 rotors vs my stock 298 c2 fronts with LW custom ali hats and slotted rotors ...
WOW quite a big difference ie Big R = 3.65kg vs 2.8 for the stock front caliper (ex pads) and the rotor is obv much heavier (2-3kg)
... does the braking power make up for the big jump in unsprung and rotating weight!?
Or is it only for a heat dissipation improvements?
apologies ali front bumper only to be sprayed once sunroof deleted.

now, the next set of rotors was cracked (using endless pads now). I replaced them with 928gts rotors, as prices changed here over the winter completely. Now, the 928 rotor is the cheapest 322 disc from porsche out there... 3.6T disc also decreased in pricing... RS is sill expensive...
If this setup now also cracks so fast, i will switch to a complete 996TT set with 330mm discs.....
Adapters are cheap, calipers as easy to get, discs are cheap... brake force is so huge that you have not to use race-pads...
