Going to test these Friday/Saturday and see how we can make a buck/mold to consistently bend the front side of the plates. The factory own plastic has a slight bend in them. I just want to give you a piece you can install without having to bend or modify anything. Thank you for your patience!"

This sounds positive, thanks for keeping on it.

Matt, I personally like the rubber Singer style gaiter. I already have the bottom of a leather **** in which i cut of the top and have a function first ****. I like the feel better than the stock leather ****. This is strictly personal preference

Looking at those rings, i wonder if you could just glue the oe rubber corregated boot to the underside. Cover the top with a leather trim piece and pop it into place.

My guess is the underside of those plates has four small little brackets which secure to the factory console, tightened via screws from the topside as seen in other photos. If I’m understanding correctly, Len is trying to make a solution that doesn’t require custom fitting to each cars console. I’m anxious to see if some of the local guys can push this along a bit if they know Len well enough to politely harass him

I've got something real trick in the works to solve this problem, have it 95% there after about 10-12 revisions just had to back burner it a bit with a busy life, will pick things up shortly.. No screws, uses factory rubber boot like Singer but for factory console. Prototypes done just trying to deal with the fitment variation on the OEM pieces, should have something to post in the next 15-30 days.

Just sent another message to Len at Sleepers. I'm allowing too much time between contact and Len isn't really pushing this so maybe I'll try being more persistent, Will report back once I hear something.
