If you read through my previous posts you can see I have been doing a bunch of work on my car and getting ready to install one of these Rothsport shifters in my car. This is purely selfishness on my part since I want one, and they need a minimum of 6-10 to do a run for me.......

I'll put you down as a maybe, but my guess is you can modify the rubber boot to fit the FF shift ****. Maybe someone else can confirm if they've done something similar.

I can't imagine why it wouldn't work on a ff ****. Actually it appears thicker than the Rothsport so it should be tighter.

Emissary is a Rennlister who is doing a lot to his interior.. thought he may be interested.

i had to look up the definition, lol. Not intended for you Lee

Haha, no worries........didn't want people to think I was peddling these kits for Sleepers since it was I that reached out to them. I completely misunderstood your post. Thanks for mentioning him, I'll reach out to see if he has any interest.

I agree on the FF ****. The beauty of the rubber boot that can be modified to fit many applications.

Does Sleepers cut the hole in the rubber shift boot? I'm thinking I would like to try and see if i could get it as tight as possible to the shaft. With the FF , we can take off the ****, so you wont have to stretch it over that part. Maybe could get a snug fit.

Also wondering if you could glue the rubber shift boot to the metal piece to avoid the little screws? Not nitpicking, it looks great as is. Just curious.

Mine looks similar... without the radical tunnel work.. really opens up interior. My indy said" you might wanna reconsider " when he first took off the lower dash. There is a little fabrication to do to clean/ hide some gaps. But well worth the effort imo

Streetdaddy, we can ask Sleepers to provide an unmodified rubber boot so that everyone can customize to fit their needs. As far as the screws I assume those screw into hardware that hold the plate down to the console.

It's made out of metal.
