Default 17" Campagnolo tribute wheels

No affiliation etc.

This was posted to Augment Wheels instagram today:

A little something fun for the narrowbody 964 guys. The Campy 40802 is a pretty iconic wheel...but one that was certainly not spec'd for the suspension and body of a 964. Due to very limited offset and brake clearance, we've updated and modernized the design so that a 964 17" fitment is possible. Tag someone with a 964 that needs these. Available now!

I'm not much of a aftermarket rim guy but these work for me.

I like the prototypes more too. I think its because the spoke detail doesn't go all the way to the outer rim

I'm with you on that too Achtung. The graceful curve on the raised rib out the rim is nice on the prototype, gives a stronger look. The other (production?) makes it look more like a wheel cover. Not to bag on the AWC, though, just my .02

I'd be curious to see these in anodized aluminum finish with a matte blasted finish on the recessed area and shiney polshed lips and raised ribs, sort of like a modified version of 2.0 914 Fuchs wheel. If I had cash to throw at new wheels, that's what I'd like. I'm more old school though, I like a little bit of tasteful bling without enough to make you wince.

I've been looking at these since this thread surfaces. Debating between some BBS wheels which look great on our cars, but are frankly used a bit too much. I wanted something a tad bit different. I was very pleased with Augment Wheels and finally have a set of wheels that I think set off the very common Guards Red.

Looks great, I love the Campy. Ironically, I have been speaking with Dan for the past month or so and I just placed my order for a set of wheels. I almost went with a set of Campys but I decided on a different style at the last minute.
