That was my first thought too.

It helps tremendously if it's on a 64 that's been lowered. Black helps too. Plus all wheels look better +1".

It's good to be different...

Rim choice is all about personal style. 3.2's and older look better in Fuchs. Even 964's look good in custom 18" deep dish Fuchs. 964's and newer can wear any kind of shoes so it's up to the owners personal tastes. In my opinion, wheels set the 964 on point. Wheels and stance alone can take a stock 964 and turn it into a bad azz ride. I prefer wheels with some dish... The deeper the better.

Man, if they could only make a set of gold Pags in 17" or 18" with proper offsets. I do like the modified d90's though.

Go follow Augment Wheels on Instagram. They'll do D90's in 17 and 18", the ones above are a "riff"on the D90 with a concave portion. They have done a few interesting wheels actually. I never understood the hate for D90's. I like the look much better than Cup 1's or 2's which I understand have qualities beyond their aesthetics, and the D90's suit the 964 far better than say a set of turbo twists. A 964 with D90's, the right ride height and a set of modest wheel spacers is brilliant IMO.

+1 (and track worthy as well).

At 1k a piece, I'm not convinced these wheels have been subject to industry testing to verify their strength.

Valid concerns.

Those 18"s look sweet! D90s also look amazing as 3-piece rims....who still makes them?

If the rendering is accurate, it looks like they are two-piece so they most likely source the barrels and then CNC the faces out of a block of Aluminum and bolt them together. I don't think they were meant to be track wheels. There are lots of street wheels on the market made this way.

One-piece Forged would be the way to go IMO.

They should make the Clubsport wheel in 17" and 18". Would be a hit wit the 928 crowd as well.

+1

But they'd have to be one piece forged
