Weird Clunk from rear at 80mph...

It occurs for some reason at almost exactly at 80...
Any ideas?

Have you experimented, and, say, accelerated to about 75, dump the clutch, and coasted through 80 to see if it still occurred. That's a long shot. I would try to eliminate as many systems as possible....

Dear Greg,
Based on the description of your 964 I would be looking at the rear set of engine mounts.

I checked, and it seems quite solid.. Besides the noise sounds more metalic in nature...
