Default Subwoofer for Porsche 964 1991

Anybody know if a subwoofer Kicker Hideway would fit under seat?

I think it would be very hard due to each seat having stuff currently under them. The passenger seat has the factory amp and an alarm component(MY 89 C4). The drivers seat has the ECU under it, and I think thats it, but not much room elsewhere. My 10" sub is a shallow mount Infinity Reference 1000 that is mounted in the middle of the rear shelf. I don't have rear seats though. I'm currently refining my enclosure as well because the 1/2" MDF board is too heavy, and bulky.

It's not ideal, but I ended up building two separate 8" enclosures that fit nicely on the seat backs when folded down. It's not stealth, but the dark carpet helps to blend in. The nice thing about this is I can easily pull 1 or 2 out for when I need to transport a little one in the back. I have plans to make a faux cover that will make the entire think look like a luggage storage box.

I don't think you'll fit anything under either of the seats. I just fitted a small active sub behind the passengers seat and it makes a huge difference to the sound.

I am able to squeeze most of a Kenwood KSC-SW11 subwoofer under the drivers seat. This was the skinniest self-powered sub that I was able to find. I think it sounds great too. If you are tall or like to sit low in the drivers seat, it will not fit. I did not mount it because I wanted everything to be reversible. I've ended up keeping it behind the driver seat and I just slide it under the seat if I want to tuck it away.

I went with a single sub version of this:

You will need a separate amp. I sourced one from Crutchfields and was able to fit it under the passenger seat once I removed the existing stereo amp.

I also have the Kenwood powered sub, but it is behind my passenger seat, not under it. Great addition to my Alpines powered by my amp in the frunk. I have to have a good sound system.

Can you please post a picture? Mounting a sub in between the rear speakers is something that I thought about. I think a custom rear parcel shelf may be necessary.
