Allright, we are getting there.
Works have started and we ran into a few hiccups before even starting the engine (no comment).
When you buy g50, make sure it is a /03 or /02 because the /01 will not match your OEM starter or clutch pack. See here: https://rennlist.com/forums/964-foru...a-starter.html
When ordering pillow mounts make sure you have the right hats for your spring. I didn't and had to buy them from Rennline (RS hats) http://www.rennline.com/RS-Spring-Hats-Rear/productinfo/S-993-333-523-80/
I also bought the steering rack reinforcement because it was cool.
When ordering the Eibach sway bar kit ( https://eibach.com/us/c-306-product-...rrera-964.html ) remember not to lose the front bushings. Thank God it is Eibach and they are the best people in the world and they are bailing me out.
So, yeah, we will get there...
I miss her.

October update!
After my shenanigans with the gearbox (read more here - Basically a mix and match of 964 LWF kit in a G50 911 GBox https://rennlist.com/forums/964-foru...a-starter.html ), realizing that Porsche did not want to custom build a starter for me (wonder why), I got in touch with Chris at HiTorque ( http://www.hitorque.com/ ). Chris was a fantastic and patient guy and he basically made a custom starter for me to fit on my hybrid G50/03. I strongly recommend his products, even if you are just looking to replace your stock starter, HiTorque starters are quality made and even save you some lbs.
The result is that the car started right away - even with some flames! So happy!
That means that the "RS" engine is healthy, the new oil lines fit well, the Hot Wire kit is working... yay! Now let's fix the AC, put it all together and hopefully by Christmas she's ready!
I know there are much better builds, with more pictures and more high end parts here on Rennlist but this is mine and I am happy so, yeah, bugger off!

Nice to hear an update. I"m turning my car in over to Jordan later this month for a Rebuild. Hope my piston and cylinders are good and I can just stick with the stock 3.6. However, I wouldn't mind going to a 3.8. Just not sure I want to incur that cost. Looking forward to pics!

I would not go with a 3.8 if I were in you, marginal gains for the $$$$.
I'd do headers, hot wire, chip and cams if yours are not looking good. This is my configuration, so maybe wait until I dyno it to see if it's worth it!

Thanks for the confirmation. Yeah the $$$ is definitely not worth the little gains. A Steve Wong chip is definitely a must so I may add that to my list as well HAHA. Can't wait to see the numbers!

She’s alive!
picking it up this weekend I hope.
corner balanced at 2864lbs. Aiming for 2700 by installing carbon fiber hood and lid, bucket seats.
mechanic said “that engine pulls very hard”. Which made me giggle.
still to fix:
clutch pedal is about 2” lower than brakes. System was bled twice so investigation will be needed. Clutch engages fine
the exhaust is not exactly what I want, I’d rather have single exit with stock Oem tip.
AC shenanigans- thank God is winter in Texas
but out for now, I just want to drive it!

Congrats can't wait to see video. Are you going to the track event this weekend at MSR or too soon?
I totally hear you on the AC. This past summer in sucked! But i'll get around to fixing it eventually. I keep hearing from other people it doesn't work that well anyways LOL

Thank you. Again, I am very excited to get it back. I know there are far more superior and better builds but I am just so connected to the ‘64 in a way that I’ve never been with the ‘93...
i am more of a youtube guy myself and if you also like Ducati bikes you can hear me talking about my newest acquisition: a 916 SP. after all - I had to keep myself busy while the 964 was getting ready!
