I am at 2765 with 1/4 tank of gas. Next up: SR delete and either Al hood or CF hood so the weight will come down.

Thanks fellas for the lightweight talk. I can only imagine how fun this platform would be with a couple hundred less pounds. Plus I’m attracted to the mechanical look. Grew up racing bicycles, so weight and function is always on my mind.

So beyond what has been already done to this car, is it possible to get to 2500?

i can think of wheels, hood, but what else to shed 250lbs?

Glass or carbon body parts. Plastic windows. Remove ac and full heating system. Etc.

Start the first three road trips naked. Give it a good try.
Can always add more padding as needed...
