Too funny - i was thinking the same thing last night when looking at this.

Great looking car (and properties)....

Note the section where I said the next phase that I'm currently in - by that I mean the car is currently at the shop getting those mods done. On the list is the aero mirrors I will update pics when they are on!

I didn't, and to be honest I probably won't until the car is "done" someday. I'm not as worried about pound per pound, just an overall approach of lightness with retained functionality. Think 964 RS, with AC, power windows and a radio.

In some places I'll be shedding lots of weight, but others I.E the cage will add a good amount.

Late 91 so updated. One of the lucky ones that doesn't leak a drop.

Started the process of sound deadening removal today. Will be ripping out the big chunks of foam, and then having the glue dry ice blased off. I will likely clean it up, and then put a lightweight RS carpet back in, without sound deadening. I'm on the fence about painting the interior and running no carpet.

I think you'll regret not having some sound deadening on the rear deck, tunnel, and floor panels :-) I will be putting some light insulation and deadening there.
