Default Update - Covers leaking once again.

Brought car in to replace oil cooler and have remaining leak fixed. Haha. Had noticed increase in oil spotting. Covers are leaking again. Shop is talking about milling cover. I'm suggesting rsr seals.

Any know how many hours are involves in installing these seals?

----- Shop estimated 7 hours. I assume only for lower banks.

^^ effectively the same as a top end refresh - can't imagine doing that with the engine in place
fitting the seals require removing each rocker shaft, threading on the seals (which are flattish and fit into the grove on each side of the r shaft) and closing up.

I might be wrong and it can be done with the tinware and various peripherals removed while engine in but looks tight be me having just done those seals a few months back while my engine was out.

I fitted the RSR seals first time around. They were rubbish and leaked like a sieve. Use proper o-ring seals.
