BBS E87
I understand that BBS E87's are available in 17" at 7x ET47 and 9"x ET60. Does anyone have these fitted to their 964? How do these compare to the E88s?

They build them custom, Mikar email/call David Esposito at http://butzigear.com he's building a set and I'm having him build me a set also. Dude has built numerous sets of BBS e88's, 2 sets for myself.

Out of curiosity, what’s the difference between E87 and E88... is it just the slightly different aesthetics?

The E87 is a slightly scaled down version of the E88 center that can be built as 16” and 17”. 18” and 19” require the E88 center to be used. The E87 is an awesome package.

Thread bump! I love e88's in 18" fitment but need to quash the gut feel to run 17"...
Is anyone actually running e87's in 17" guise? If so, please post some pics and specs! All of the above pics are e88 in 18" or e87 in 18".
To those in know - would the e87 center codes denote the same thickness/ backpadding as e88 but obviously with a different prefix e.g. 0288108 becomes 0287108? i.e. they are the same thickness from the side, but one is 18", the other is 17".

I have e87s (17") on mine and love them.. size ratio seems to fit better than 18s. At least for my personal preference, but I also like the big obnoxious lips. :P

17s seem so right on a 964, plus the dish looks mega.
Couldn't take my eyes off of dukmon's when we drove together. Totally changes the look of a 964
