Default 1990 Carrera 2 Slate Gray Coupe

Hi Guys,
My first visit to the 964 forum. Here's a few pics of my new-to-me 1990 C2 coupe. 64km, one owner, all original Slate Gray paint, uncertain of the interior color (Light Gray)?. The car appears to be all stock except for the upgraded stereo. I'm pretty excited to get it home when it stops snowing and the dirt roads dry up a bit.
Looking forward to making new friends!
Cheers.

Sweet! Per code 220 on your sticker, you have the limited-slip differential.

The last owner must have needed that box of tissues when he sold her!

Thanks guys. Any ideas what that interior color might be? I've ordered Adrian's book which, I assume, will help. I know that the "QM" isn't too specific, but perhaps a pair educated eyes can figure it out?

Linen Gray. It was discontinued after 1990. Both Linen and Light Gray are much lighter shades. Here's a couple of blurbs; first one from Adrian S.

"QM is the basic interior colour combination code. If you get my book you will find all this information except for the 2-letter interior colour codes because this was too difficult to come up with an accurate and reliable list."

"The 2 character interior code is calculated based on the color of the carpet, seats and seat belt. The same 2 character code (i.e.: VA) can mean different color combinations in different model years. I am not aware of any online tool available that can decipher this."

For what its worth, I have a MY91, built 11/90 with Linen Grey seats/doorcards/carpet as per the original window sticker. It is two-tone with a blue dash/headliner/accents.

Paint Code: Slate Grey Metallic / Q9Q9
Touch-up: 911.095.933.20 22D (slate grey metallic)

Loved my slate grey 964... gave it a complete bare metal respray and resto then promptly wrote it off four days later into a concrete wall near Le Mans

Enjoy it and take the time to get really hands-on with it.
