driving six blocks in a 993 cured me of the urge to "upgrade". too much of a GT feel to it, for me.

I would be cautious in saying “too much”.
I enjoy the 993 for my trips to the airport, groceries runs, simple daily stuff. I’d hate the 964 for this kind of use but when the weekend comes I know which keys I am picking up...
